NASA is intensifying its preparations for the return of humans to the lunar surface by scheduling an ambitious orbital rehearsal. During the Artemis III mission, currently slated for 2027, the Orion spacecraft and its crew will conduct separate rendezvous and docking maneuvers with prototype lunar landers developed by SpaceX and Blue Origin.
