Electric vehicle (EV) sales in Europe have experienced a remarkable surge, achieving a 51% increase in July 2023 compared to the previous year. This uplift brought EVs to 277,006 registrations, translating to a substantial 25% share of all new car sales in the region.
Leading this growth, France secured the highest market share for EVs at 35%, registering over 44,000 electric vehicles. Full-electric models also saw impressive numbers, reaching a 29.3% overall share in the country.
