Energiesysteme Groß, also known as ESG-Solar, has officially commissioned a specialized charging park for electric heavy-duty vehicles in Niestetal, located near Kassel, Germany. Positioned strategically near the A7 motorway, the facility is designed to support the growing infrastructure needs of long-haul electric logistics.
Integrated Renewable Energy
The hub distinguishes itself by combining advanced Megawatt Charging System (MCS) technology with a dedicated on-site solar park. To ensure consistent power delivery and grid stability, the installation includes a high-capacity battery storage system. This setup allows the hub to utilize renewable energy directly for high-power charging sessions.
Versatile Charging Options
While the primary focus of the Niestetal park is to provide rapid charging for electric trucks, the facility is also accessible to electric passenger cars. This dual-use approach maximizes the utility of the charging site, providing a critical service point for various types of electric vehicle operators traveling along one of Germany's most important transport corridors.
