- Marine Cloud Brightening: Focusing on the eastern Pacific, this method showed the potential to drastically weaken the powerful El Niño cycle. - Stratospheric Aerosol Injection: In contrast, this approach was found to leave the overall climate system largely undisturbed in the study's models.
