The Volvo EX60, along with the EX90 and ES90 models, is receiving a significant software update aimed at enhancing driver safety. This update introduces four new alert features that leverage vehicle data to predict and inform drivers of potential hazards, including large animals on the road and vulnerable users.
New Alert Features
- Large Animal Alert: Notifies drivers about large animals, such as deer or moose, that could pose a danger, particularly in regions where such wildlife is prevalent.
- Vulnerable Road User Alert: Warns drivers about pedestrians or cyclists in close proximity, promoting safer interactions on the road.
- Roadwork Alert: Provides real-time updates on roadwork ahead, helping drivers navigate safely through construction zones.
- Accident Ahead Alert: Informs drivers of accidents ahead, allowing for timely route adjustments to avoid further incidents.
