Volkswagen is seeing significant momentum for its latest electric offering, the ID. Polo. Within just weeks of its initial market debut, the German automaker has already secured 25,000 orders, signaling strong consumer appetite for compact electric vehicles.

Building on this early success, Volkswagen has now opened pre-orders for a more affordable entry-level variant. This new model features a smaller 37 kWh battery pack, allowing the company to bring the starting price point down to under $30,000.
This strategic move is expected to further bolster the ID. Polo's market position as Volkswagen aims to capture the budget-conscious segment of the EV market. While the smaller battery offers a reduced range compared to the launch editions, the competitive pricing makes it an attractive option for urban commuters and first-time EV buyers.
