Pilot Travel Centers has reached a significant milestone in its commitment to electric vehicle infrastructure, expanding its coast-to-coast DC fast-charging network to more than 300 locations. This expansion follows the addition of 50 new high-speed charging sites during the first half of 2026.
Expanding Highway Accessibility
With these latest additions, Pilot now offers EV charging capabilities at more than one-third of its total travel center locations across the United States. The company’s initiative aims to reduce range anxiety for long-distance travelers by integrating reliable fast-charging hardware into its established network of roadside service hubs.
As the EV market continues to mature through 2026, the density of these charging sites is becoming critical for the widespread adoption of electric mobility. Pilot’s ongoing rollout represents one of the largest private investments in highway charging infrastructure to date.
