Moto Hospitality has officially opened its new ultra-rapid charging facility at the Exeter service station, marking a significant milestone for the UK's electric vehicle infrastructure. The expansion introduces high-capacity charging bays capable of delivering up to 400kW, catering to both passenger cars and heavy-duty trucks.
A New Benchmark for UK Charging
With this latest launch, the Exeter Hub is now reported to be the largest electric vehicle charging site in the country. The integration of 400kW technology places the facility at the forefront of charging speeds, significantly reducing downtime for long-distance travelers and commercial operators alike.
The project represents a strategic move to bolster the United Kingdom's motorway charging network, addressing the growing demand for reliable, high-power energy solutions as EV adoption continues to rise across the transport sector.
