Hyundai is making its high-performance electric vehicle more accessible for the 2026 model year. The South Korean automaker has officially reduced the starting price of the Ioniq 5 N in the United States by $6,300, a move aimed at strengthening its position in the competitive performance EV market.
Technical Upgrades and NACS Integration
Beyond the price adjustment, the 2026 Ioniq 5 N introduces several key hardware and software updates. Most notably, the vehicle now comes standard with a North American Charging Standard (NACS) port, allowing for seamless integration with Tesla's Supercharger network. Hyundai is also including bundled charging adapters to ensure compatibility with existing CCS infrastructure.
Driving enthusiasts will also benefit from a revised drift mode, which has been fine-tuned to enhance the vehicle's handling dynamics during performance maneuvers. These updates ensure that despite the lower price point, the Ioniq 5 N remains a flagship for Hyundai's electric performance division.
