Ford is doubling down on its efforts to simplify electric vehicle ownership by extending the 'Power Promise' program. Nearly two years after its initial rollout, the initiative continues to provide new EV buyers with a significant incentive: a free home charging station.
Simplifying the EV Transition
The program is designed to address one of the primary hurdles for first-time EV owners—home charging infrastructure. By including a complimentary Ford Connected Charge Station with the purchase of a Mustang Mach-E or F-150 Lightning, the automaker aims to reduce the total cost of ownership and alleviate range anxiety.
This latest extension suggests that Ford views the Power Promise as a vital tool in maintaining sales momentum as the broader EV market faces fluctuating demand. The offer typically includes standard installation, further removing technical and financial barriers for consumers transitioning from internal combustion engines.
