Allego, a prominent Dutch electric vehicle charging provider, has announced a strategic shift in its operational infrastructure. The company is transitioning its network backend to Ampeco, a leading charge point management software provider.
A Large-Scale Migration
The partnership involves the management of Allego's extensive network, which currently comprises over 35,000 charging points. This infrastructure spans 16 European countries, making it one of the most significant migrations in the sector. The move to Ampeco's platform is designed to enhance the efficiency and scalability of Allego's pan-European operations.
Timeline and Implementation
The migration process is already underway, with a projected completion date set for the fourth quarter of 2026. By utilizing Ampeco's backend technology, Allego aims to provide a more robust and flexible charging experience for EV drivers across the continent while optimizing its internal management capabilities.
