Swiss electric scooter manufacturer VMAX has officially expanded its lineup with the launch of the VX2 Lite. Designed specifically for the commuter market, the new model aims to balance performance and comfort without the premium price tag typically associated with full-suspension builds.
Performance and Range
Despite its 'Lite' branding, the scooter delivers significant power, featuring a motor capable of reaching up to 1,400W at peak performance. This allows for reliable acceleration and hill-climbing capabilities. Range is equally impressive for its class, with VMAX claiming a maximum distance of up to 56 miles (90 km) on a single charge, depending on riding conditions.
Premium Features in a Lightweight Build
The standout feature of the VX2 Lite is its full-suspension system, a rarity for scooters priced at the $799 mark. This setup is designed to dampen vibrations and handle urban obstacles, providing a smoother ride on uneven city streets. VMAX has managed to integrate these components into a relatively lightweight package, ensuring the scooter remains portable enough for multi-modal commuting.
