The Gist

Michelin's UK Connected Solutions Division has integrated 19 new Ford electric vans, bringing its zero-emission fleet share to nearly two-thirds.

Michelin is accelerating its transition to sustainable logistics by adding 19 new Ford electric vans to its UK Connected Solutions Division. This latest deployment significantly shifts the fleet's composition, with battery-electric vehicles (BEVs) now accounting for nearly two-thirds of the total division lineup.

Fleet Modernization

The acquisition includes 16 Ford E-Transit Courier models and three Ford E-Transit Custom vans. These new electric units are set to replace older diesel-powered vehicles, marking a major step in reducing the carbon footprint of Michelin's regional operations.

By opting for Ford’s latest electric offerings, Michelin continues to align its operational infrastructure with broader environmental goals, moving away from internal combustion engines in favor of high-performance, zero-emission alternatives for its service and logistics needs.
