Astronomers have used the James Webb Space Telescope to study the atmosphere of the so-called 'Pink Planet' located 57 light-years from Earth.
The telescope directly confirmed the presence of salty clouds for the first time, alongside water vapor, methane, carbon dioxide, and ammonia.
This discovery solves a decade-old mystery about the planet's exotic atmospheric composition.
