California is launching a $135 million electric vehicle (EV) incentive program aimed at increasing adoption and supporting local manufacturers. A key feature of the program exempts vehicles from California-based EV makers such as Rivian and Lucid from specific restrictions that apply to other brands.
This move intends to strengthen the state's local EV industry and encourage more drivers to switch to electric vehicles.
