TeraWulf, a leader in sustainable digital infrastructure, has finalized a 20-year lease agreement with AI research company Anthropic. CEO Paul Prager described the deal as a significant vote of confidence in TeraWulf’s ability to support high-performance AI workloads.
Expanding AI Infrastructure
The partnership centers on TeraWulf's strategic shift toward hosting artificial intelligence hardware alongside its existing operations. During an interview on 'Bloomberg The Close,' Prager highlighted the long-term nature of the commitment, which provides financial stability and a clear roadmap for future scaling.
The Kentucky AI Campus
As part of its growth plans, TeraWulf is developing a purpose-built AI campus at its Kentucky site. This facility is designed to meet the intensive power and cooling requirements of modern AI models. Prager noted that the collaboration with Anthropic underscores the increasing demand for specialized data center space as AI firms look for reliable, long-term infrastructure partners.
